The individual lessons won't be downloaded with the app, so you'll have to download them one by one. Most keyboards require you to download a driver from the keyboard manufacturer's website so that it can be recognized by the Playground Sessions app. To connect your keyboard to your device, you'll require an A-to-B USB cable or a MIDI-to-USB cable based on the connections of your keyboard. As they have a wider range and weighted keys, an 88-key keyboard would be closer to the feel of an acoustic piano, which will be important for technique. Although Playground Sessions recommends a 61-key keyboard, if you wish to learn how to play the piano, an 88-key would be the way to go. To get started, you will require a digital piano or MIDI-compatible keyboard. You will be able to choose from a monthly, annual, and lifetime membership, with the latter largely viewed as the best value. Playground Sessions is essentially a subscription-based program and you'll need to have an active membership to be able to access the lessons and songs.
